  Sometimes we need to stop analyzing the past, stop planning the future, stop trying to figure out precisely how we feel, stop deciding with our mind what we want our heart to feel, and sometimes we just have to go with “whatever happens, happens”.

  

  

  

  
  

  Unexpected people come into our lives and make us happy. One good thing is that there are also unexpected people who stay and make us far happier.
  

  

  

  

  

  I was born to be stubborn. a little bossy. To push people, to push myself. I was taught to never take life for granted, to live a little, to love with everything I have. I learned to never give up, to believe in myself. Most of all, fight for myself.

  

  

  

  
  

  I’d trade everything to have you here. I’d give up everything for the feeling I feel when I’m with you. If I can’t feel it again, then I don’t know what I’d do. Your scent, the feel of your skin against mine, the soft kisses on these warm summer nights. This is what I waited my whole life for. And I’m going to spend my entire life searching for a moment where I feel it again. And this time, when I find it, I’ll never let it get away from me. I will hold him in my arms and take in everything he is. I will feel in love and have a smile that no one else can replace.

  

  

  

  
  

  You never know where the next miracle is going to come from, the next smile, the next wish coming true. But, if you believe it’s right around the corner and you open your heart and mind to the possibility of it, the certainty of it, you just might get what you’re looking for.

  

  

  

  
  

  You are beautiful and special. You may have gotten hurt in the past, but that is no reason to give up. You will find someone who loves you just as much as you love them. Just give it time. When you do find that someone, let their love in. You’ll be glad you did. So keep your faith, and never settle for anything less than exactly what you deserve.

  

  

  

  
  

  If I could go anywhere in the world, I would chose the sky. But I wouldn’t stop to mingle with the birds or race the jet planes or even catch a ride on a rocket. I’d just keep going, and maybe if I flew high enough, I would melt into the sun. And I would finally burn with the type of passion I’ve only ever dreamed of.

  

  

  

  
  

  Someone will always be prettier. They will always be smarter. Their house will always be bigger. They will drive a better car. Their children will do better in school, and their husbands will fix more things about the house. So let it go, and love yourself and your circumstances. Think about it: the prettiest women in the world have turmoil in their house, and the highly favored woman at your job maybe be unable to have children. And the richest woman you know, who’s got the car, the house, the clothes – might be lonely. And the world says, “If I have no love, I am nothing.” So again, love who you are. Look in the mirror in the morning, smile and say, “I am blessed to be stressed, and too anointed to be disappointed. Winners make things happen; losers let things happen.”

  

  

  

  
  

  You don’t have to believe me, I’m just speaking my mind. You look lovely as always, you get that all the time. You don’t have to believe me when I tell you I’m impressed, but you sure better believe me when I say you deserve the best.

  

  

  

  
  

  Don’t wait until it’s too late to say the things you mean. People are lost everyday. I know from experience. Don’t wait until they are lying in the hospital or a casket, don’t wait until they are about to board a plane, and don’t wait until they have finally moved on.

  

  

  

  
  

  It’s not about what happened in the past, or what you think might happen in the future. It’s about the ride, for goodness sakes. There’s no point in going through all this crap, if you’re not going to enjoy the ride. And, you know what? When you least expect it, something great might come along. Something better than you had ever even planned on.

  

  

  
  

  Eventually, you’re going to find that one person that you’re going to settle down to. They’re going to make you change your bad habits and your ways. You’re going to want to spend every moment with this person, and you’d do things you never thought you would ever do for someone. It’s not called ‘whipped’, it’s swallowing you pride and breaking your morals for someone you feel is truly worth it.
