  • You make me want to la la

I remember when we were young driving in your car, speeding so fast I thought I was drunk. & I felt like I belonged, like I could finally be someone.

He makes me happy. The kind of happiness that only comes from love. The kind that gives you thattickling sensation in your stomach and shivers up your spine.

Even though we’ve changed and we’re all finding our own place in this world. we all know that when the tears call or the smiles spread across our face we’ll come to each other because no matter where this crazy world takes us, nothing will ever change to the point where were not still best friends.

I think I’ve loved every person I’ve ever known. I think that there’s something in every single individualthat can compliment you or can contrast you in the worst way possible. But after you’ve met someone, someone who drives you crazy, who you can argue with, someone whose littlest habits are enough to make you swoon, you’ll know it’s love.

Sometimes I feel cold as steel, like my hearts broken and it’s never going to heal.

Confidence is key. Sometimes you need to look like you’re confident, even when you’re not.

You know that feeling? That feeling as if you’re on the top of the world? The feeling you get after yourfirst date? The feeling you get after you laugh with your best friend? The feeling you get whenmeeting your idol? That’s how life should feel everyday.

Maybe your first love is the one that sticks with you because it’s the only person who will ever receive all of you. After that, you learn better. But most of all, no matter what, a piece of you forever remainsleft behind in the heart of the one you loved, a piece no future lover could ever get. That piece holds innocence, the belief that love really can last forever. It holds friendship and pain, trial and error, that one kiss you’ll never forget and that night under the stars you can never get back. It holds youthand everything you thought love would be. Everything that was proven wrong.

Instead of thinking about what you’re missing, try thinking about what you have that everyone else is missing.

I have this connection with him, though he doesn’t see it. It’s like I turn around without a reason I can think of and he’s either passing by or is standing nearby. I can pick him out of a crowd of over ahundred almost instantly sometimes. It’s almost as if I can feel his presence.

Forgetting you will be impossible. You impacted my life in a way no one can describe. And I’ll still love you even though you’re gone.

We can all use a little hope sometimes. That feeling that everything is going to be okay and that there’s going to be someone there to help make sure of that.

Letting go isn’t about winning or losing. It’s not about pride. It’s not about dwelling on the past. It’s not about loss or defeat. It’s learning, experiencing, and growing. Letting go is to be thankful of themoments that made you laugh, made you cry, and made you grow.  It’s about all that you have and all that you had. It’s the courage to accept change and the strength to keep moving. It’s growing up.

When you look at a person, any person, remember that everyone has a story. Everyone has gone through something that has changed them.
