• Make everything count

  

  We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things because we’re curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.

  

  

  

  

  People think a soulmate is your perfect fit, and that’s what everyone wants. But a true soulmate is a mirror, the person who shows you everything that is holding you back. The person who brings you to your own attention so you can change your life. A true soulmate is probably the most important person you’ll ever meet because they tear down your walls and smack you awake, but to live with a soulmate forever? It’s too painful. Soulmates - they come into your life just to reveal another layer of yourself to you, and then leave. A soulmate’s purpose is to shake you up, tear apart your ego a little bit, show you your obstacles and addictions, break your heart open so new light can get in, make you so desperate and out of control that you have to transform your life.

  

  

  

  

  I always have this fear that one day you’re going to discover that I’m not as great as you once thought I was.

  

  

  

  

  My rule is to just be who I am. Sometimes I don’t take my own advice, but I know that no matter what, I can be happy with continuing forward.

  

  

  

  

  

  It’s amazing how at one point in our lives we will be extremely close with someone and then laterthey’ll become a complete stranger. You’ll pass by them without a word, without a single acknowledging look. This person, who you once knew so well, who once knew your fears, your desires, your dreams, your past, is now walking right past you, seeing right through you.

  

  

  

  

  

  Most people don’t marry the loves of their lives. You marry for compatibility, for friendship, and there’s a lot to besaid about that. It may not be a kind of relationship where you can read each other’s minds, but it’s comfortable, like afamiliar spot on your favorite chair. That’s just another kind of love, one that doesn’t burn itself out, one that worksin the real world.

  

  

  

  

  

  The essence of life is not being perfect, impressing people, or succeeding at everything. The essence of life is simply making mistakes and learning from them, surrounding yourself with people thatlove you when you’re being yourself and getting through the failures so that you can continue improving.

  

  

  

  

  

  I believe that you can fall in love many times with many different people. However, I don’t think that you can fall in love the same way twice.

  

  

  

  

  

  When someone wants a boyfriend, it won’t help to tell them that some don’t even have parents. Just because others are starving doesn’t mean you can’t be hungry. Some people may be striving to live, but that doesn’t mean others aren’t wishing to die. Problems are relative, just because someone else’sproblem may be larger than yours does not mean yours don’t matter.

  

  

  

  

  Things don’t always work out the way we plan them to and in the midst of the confusion, we wonder how things could ever be right again. But things have a way of working out and sometimes better than we ever dreamed they could.

  

  

  

  

  

  Life can be wildly tragic at times, and I’ve had my share, but whatever happens to you, you have to keep a slightly comic attitude. In the final analysis, you must not forget to laugh.

  

  

  

  

  

  I know that this isn’t what you always planned, but maybe that’s the point. You need to stop planning your life and I promise you something good, maybe even beautiful will happen.

  

  

  

  

  

  No person has the right to condemn you on how you repair your heart because no one knows how much you’re hurting.

  

  

  

  

  

  Every bad situation will have something positive. Even a dead clock shows the correct time twice a day.
