Before you talk, listen. Before you react, think. Before you criticize, wait. Before you pray, forgive. And before you quit, try.

You remember everything when it’s over, so maybe next time you should forget when it starts.

You can never make the same mistake twice. The second time you make it, it’s no longer a mistake, it’s a choice.

You don’t see what’s special about a moment until you look back on it in the future, when you know that you can’t have it anymore.

Moving on is not about not looking back. It’s taking a glance at yesterday, and seeing how much you’ve grown since then.

As you get older, every choice that you make defines what person you’re gonna turn into. And every once in a while, you need to look at yourself and ask if you like the person you’re becoming.

I can’t tell you how much I’d love to take back every word I said. You gave me every  reason to ignore the lies you fed me then. And I’m so sorry, I must escape before you suffocate me, so I waited patiently as long  as I could, fought so hard for someone, that I loved. But who later turned out to be someone I hardly knew.

You have the right to leave someone. But at least tell them why, cause what’s even more painful than being abandoned; is knowing you’re not worth an explanation.

The scariest moment is always just before you start.

Everyone, at some point in their lives, wakes up in the middle of the night with the feeling that they are all alone in the world, and that nobody loves them now and that nobody will ever love them, and that they will never have a decent night’s sleep again and will spend their lives wandering blearily around a loveless landscape, hoping desperately that their circumstances will improve, but suspecting, in their heart of hearts, that they will remain unloved forever. The best thing to do in these circumstances is to wake somebody else up, so that they can feel this way, too.

I am too positive to be doubtful, too optimistic to be fearful & too determined to be defeated.
