  • Tonight’s going to be a good night

At the end of the day, love is a funny thing. It turns up when you least expect it. It’s like one day you realize that the fairy tale might be different than you dreamed.

When life offers you a dream so far beyond any of your expectations, its not reasonable to grieve when it comes to an end.

Don’t be afraid of death, but be afraid of the unlived life. You don’t have to live forever. You just have to live.

It’s laughing with your friend at a time when you shouldn’t. It’s the sweat in your palms wanting to know someone you see and the pit in your stomach when they actually see you. It’s being touched by hands that aren’t your own. It’s the thrill of an escape that almost wasn’t. It’s the embarrassment you feel, naked for the first time. It’s helping a friend find something they lost. It’s a smile, a joke, a song. It’s what someone does that they like doing. It’s what someone does that they like remembering. It’s the thinking of things you may never do and the doing of things you may never have thought. It’s the road ahead and the road behind. It’s the first step and the last and every one in between, because they all make up the good life.

Have faith. Some things fall apart, so that other things come together.

I know I say I’m just fine, but I hope you wonder from time to time.

It’s not about what happened in the past or what you think might happen in the future. It’s about the ride. And you know what? When you least expect it, something great might come along. Something better than you ever planned for.

When you drop a glass or a plate on the ground, it makes a loud crashing sound. When a window shatters, a table leg breaks, or when a picture falls off the wall, it makes a noise. But as for your heart, when that breaks, it’s completely silent. You would think as it’s so important it would make the loudest noise in the whole world, or even have some sort of ceremonious sound like the gong of a symbol or the ringing of a bell. But it’s silent and you almost wish there was a noise to distract you from the pain.

The whole world, including myself, seems to have one thing in common: we’re just a crowd of people who don’t really fit in anywhere, attempting to convince one another that we do.

Music is enough for a lifetime, but a lifetime is not enough for music.

Time is ticking away. Yes you’re young, but the years fly by and soon you’ll be wondering what would have happened if you would have spoken what was inside your heart.

The worst thing you could do for love is deny it.

Don’t waste your time with people who don’t make you feel alive.
